Stone Sculptures Gozitan born sculptor Joe Xuereb began carving stone in 1973
under the tutelage of the British archaeologist Marie Claridge. His work
is influenced from the Malta's Neolithic Temple Period. He has
exhibited his work in Malta and abroad and today he runs his own gallery in the
village of Ghajnsielem.
